Assessing Eating Habits of the Elderly

In both cases, illness seems a leading cause of poor nutrition habits, especially as it leads to a poor sense of well-being and decreased mobility. Education and budget seem to have a less important impact on dietary habits among the elderly, as most participants of the study seemed secure in their food resources and seemed to have a good grasp of basic nutritional concepts such as food groups and the importance of food variety, even if their food choices showed little inclination to apply this knowledge.
